Gwendolyn Lee, EdD

Gwen has served as a high school teacher, dean of students, principal, and associate superintendent where she brought the S.M.A.R.T. Goals Process to her district. In addition to her work with QLD, she is involved with the New Leaders for New Schools program, NSDC's professional development audits, the Illinois Gates Coalition for Systems Change and Technology Integration, the Illinois ASCD Board of Directors, and serves as President and Treasurer of the South Suburban IASCD.

Marilyn Murphy

Marilyn is currently an elementary school principal, having formerly served for 26 years as a classroom teacher. As an administrator, Marilyn helped develop her district's teacher mentor program. She has trained and coached her staff in the S.M.A.R.T. goals process, and the skills of collecting data / analyzing results. Additionally she has conducted workshops on differentiation, conflict resolution, and anti-bullying strategies for many different audiences.

Gail Worrell, Ph.D

Gail has served as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, central office administrator, university associate professor, and workshop and conference presenter. Along with her consulting work with QLD, she is a consultant for the Consortium for Educational Change, training staff how to use Charlotte Danielson's Framework to improve curriculum and instruction. She is currently the Director of Curriculum & Instruction at Zion Benton High School District.

Gail currently resides in Zion, Illinois.

Bill Conzemius, Ph.D

A long-time elementary principal and former Director of Pupil Services for the Verona Area School District, Bill retired as the district's Superintendent in 2005. His passion for children and learning has not waned in retirement. What he misses most is his daily dose of a child's perspective and a teacher's compassion. Bill's professional expertise and interests include leadership for change, behavior management and using data to inform educational practice.

Susan L. Abplanalp, Ph.D

Currently an Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Schools in the Madison Metropolitan School District, Sue is a former teacher and principal. As a principal, her school was awarded the Distinguished Title 1 School Award and was nominated as a Promising Site. Sue has provided consultation and seminars to school districts on whole school reform, focusing on  data use, professional development and implementation strategies. She has presented numerous times at the local, state and national levels.
