Jo Seidel is a seasoned educator who is committed to improving learning and teaching. Her experience spans elementary and secondary education as a classroom teacher, gifted teacher and coordinator, and as an administrator. As an administrator, Jo served as Director of Curriculum, Assessment and Research, Director of Professional Development and Director of Instructional Technology. She is also an experienced grant writer.
As a consultant and coach, Jo works with educators at all levels throughout the country. Her services include leadership and team coaching for accelerated results. In addition, she provides tailored services in adolescent literacy, reading across content areas, reading instruction best practices, writing, differentiated instruction and intervention services, curriculum, instruction, and assessment/data analysis. Other areas of consultation include her work surrounding poverty issues that impact the community, the individual and youth. Jo is a trainer for response to intervention for Indiana.
Jo enjoys growing orchids, sailing, hiking, and working with technology. She is a member of ASCD, the International Reading Association, NSDC, and NCTM.
