The SMART Goals Learning Community on PD 360

The SMART Goals Learning Community on PD 360 has grown to include more than 1,400 members. The community is a vehicle for sharing documents, video segments and other resources relating to the use of the SMART Goals Process to drive improvement in student and adult learning.

Among the other resources, both print and video, look for the video segment and resource document on the topic of Levels of Fix. In the video, Anne describes three levels of intervention and provides a classroom example. The resource document adds the appropriate Analysis, Alignment, Improvement, and Action questions pertaining to each of the three Levels of Fix:

     Level I - fix the problem

     Level II - improve the process that created the problem

     Level III - redesign the system that created the process that led to the problem
