How do you measure the effectiveness of your school improvement efforts?
The S.M.A.R.T. Measurement Systemâ„¢ (S.M.S.) incorporates the use of multiple forms of data and field-based evidence to assess the impact of professional development focused on school improvement. Specifically, the S.M.S. integrates critical measures of student performance with an Indicators of Progress rubric and S.M.A.R.T. Survey.
This multi-tool system measures progress in the critical attributes of results, process and leadership capacity. The S.M.S. has been used successfully by school districts to validate improving and improved results. For a more complete description of S.M.S., click here.
